I wanted to post an example of a before and after. People often don't realize the kind of work that goes into finishing photographs. Whether for screen or print, pictures often need finish work. A crop here and there, little composition adjustments, and sometimes skin retouching.
Often clients have blemishes or scars that make them self conscious. I have a basic guideline for handling these minor issues "If it's not going to be here in six months, or if it's something that makes you feel uncomfortable, it can be hand edited and professionally retouched, without changing what you look like."
My clients can choose to have these things removed, to be portrayed in a way that doesn’t detract from who they are.
