The Body Artisans

You may notice the page is a little quieter than usual over the next few days, and that’s because I’m taking a little time to fill my own cup.

For the next four days, I’ll be in beautiful Santa Fe at The Bright Moon Institute, enjoying the opportunity to be a student again. It is great getting to set my own work aside for a moment and remembering what it feels like to sit on the other side of the table, curious, inspired, and excited to learn.

I met Ahna Ma at the Massage Championship of Colorado earlier this year, and I was immediately drawn to the way he works. His style has such a beautiful sense of presence and flow that I knew I wanted the chance to learn from him someday. I’m so grateful that day has finally arrived.

I’ll try to share a few little videos and moments from the experience as the week unfolds. Learning, growing, receiving bodywork, and taking a little time to care for the caregiver.
