Whoever said "Don't cry over spilled milk" was not a NICU mom. For Hallie, every single drop mattered when her 3-pound son, Witt, was born at just 29 weeks.
Hallie counted every precious ounce she could pump, hoping it would be enough to help her tiny newborn grow stronger while he was in the NICU at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital. During their 56-day stay, the team became more than caregivers, they were a lifeline in the hardest moments. Today, Witt is thriving and smiling.
