I’m probably just as critical of your bridal preview as you are, both in the moment and again on your wedding morning. It’s basically a ritual at this point. I sit there with my Americano, analyzing your photos and thinking about every little thing I could refine or elevate.
That said, I never make changes without collaborating with my bride. The goal is always for you to feel like the most elevated version of yourself. Beautiful Rachael got married at one of my favorite venues, . From her preview, we decided to warm up the tones in her eye makeup a bit, switch from lash clusters to a half lash, and she wanted to wear her signature lip color and apply it herself. She wears it all the time, and it’s part of what makes her feel the most like her.

1st wedding of the year ✨
My first time doing makeup and it was stunning! Brittany somehow got perfect weather both day and for the Northern CA coast in April, is basically a miracle.
I love when a bride books me for both the welcome party and wedding day. The more at-bats I get on your face, the better the outcome. For her rehearsal, we went more glam than her preview: stronger liner, more drama, a shimmery lid… we were all obsessed. And it brought out the hazel in her (normally brown) eyes in the prettiest way.
We loved it so much we carried that vibe into the wedding day. With the cooler weather, I could give her that glowy, radiant skin without worrying about anything melting Her cheeks?! My favorite part.
She also booked me to stay for touch-ups, which meant I got to walk out with her for her first look. It was just the two of them, the photographer, and me… and I got so choked up. I’m rarely there for that moment, and it was beautiful. I even got to send photos in real time to her grandparents in Hawaii who couldn’t attend 🥺
From the very beginning of the weekend through that moment, I got to be part of it all and it was so special.
As her friends said when she was done: “You look like a celebrity.”
