Is your business ready to re-open? States are easing stay at home orders and beauty businesses are beginning to re-open across the country. It's a good time to send your clients an email them to let them you know you're looking forward to seeing them again soon.

If you are re-opening soon, or have already re-opened, draft up an email that explains to your customers:

1. When are you re-opening?
2. What precautions will you be taking?
3. Are masks required or provided by you?
4. What is your appointment policy?

Here's a sample email for you to use:

Dear Valued Clients,

In accordance with state guidelines, we plan on re-opening for business on May XX

We would like to let you know that your health and care are our top priority . In addition to our existing high standards of sanitation and disinfection we are implementing additional measures to ensure everyone's safety:

No staff member will be allowed work who has symptoms of illness (cough, fever, etc).

Staff members will wear masks when interacting with clients.

We have hand washing stations available and will ask you to please wash your hands for 20 seconds upon arrival.

Staff at the salon/spa will be washing hands even more frequently then usual.

We are avoiding all non essential touching (handshakes/hugs/etc.) between staff and clients.

Tools and implements used on clients as well as chairs, chair arms and washing stations will be cleaned and sanitized between every use.

High use surfaces including door handles light switches and regularly touched objects will be disinfected and sanitized multiple times each day.

Our Appointment Policy Updates:
Please contact us via email or phone to make an appointment.

Thank you and stay safe,

- Salon and Spa Staff
