Today, around 10:45 a.m., a deputy spotted a vehicle speeding southbound on Marlow Road and conducted a traffic stop at Northwest Community Park.
The driver, 43-year-old Felix Solorio Zaragoza of Windsor, had his 6-year-old daughter in the back seat. A bag of unsealed ma*****na was in plain view. With the driver’s consent, a search of the vehicle revealed a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe.
Due to the driver’s erratic behavior, CHP was requested to assist. Zaragoza was arrested and booked for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment.
This is exactly why proactive enforcement matters. Our deputies are out there every day protecting our families and keeping our community safe.

Deputy injured after arrest of suspect in rural Rohnert Park.
On 05/27/2026, at about 7:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 4800 block of Petaluma Hill Road for the report of a subject walking northbound, checking gates and residential doors.
A deputy arrived in the area and contacted Felix Barradas Moreno, 32, of Santa Rosa. Moreno was the only subject walking in the area and matched the description given by the original caller to the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch.
After being contacted, it was learned that Moreno was on Sonoma County Probation for 69 PC (Resisting an Executive Officer). During the contact with the deputy, Moreno was uncooperative, continually tried to conceal his hands, and ran from the deputy.
The deputy chased Moreno for a short distance and forced him to the ground. Moreno continually fought the deputy, who was by himself. After a sustained altercation, a second deputy arrived on scene and assisted with taking Moreno into custody.
Medical personnel were summoned to the scene, and Moreno was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance. Moreno received minor injuries from the altercation, and after being medically cleared, was booked into the Main Adult Detention Facility. During the booking process, Moreno was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Moreno was booked for 69 PC, 1203.2 PC (Violation of Probation), and 11377(a) HS (Possession of Controlled Substance), where he remains in custody without bail.
The original deputy involved in this incident sustained a fracture to his left elbow.
We urge the public to contact the Sheriff's Office if they see people in their neighborhood looking into car windows, trying to open locked doors, or acting suspiciously.
