Avante' Plumbing is proud to help customer Fred Bonette from San Leandro receive $1,785.00 from PG&E / California's state incentive program for installing a residential solar (thermal) hot water system.

I haven't posted for awhile it's still a new concept for me. Avante' Plumbing is 'green certified' company and I will explain all of what that means later; for now it's all about saving water. As you know we got a ton of rain in December which was great and was a big help but that fact is we're still in a serious drought; e. g. without more rain the moisture content of the soil is not enough to get us through to next year. For now let's all use are water resource wisely; I will be sharing tips on how to do that.

My plumbing tip for the week: to save water, if you haven't replace your toilet in the last ten, then do it without even thinking about. Not even do they use less water 1.28 gpf , but they work far better then the first generation toilets. You can pick up one new for about $160.00 not a huge cost and you can feel good that your doing your part.
