October 1-11, 1931:
Daimler-Benz AG presents the 170 model (W 15) to the public at the Paris Motor Show. An innovative feature of this model was its advanced chassis design concept, as the first Mercedes-Benz series-produced passenger car with "independent axles," i.e. individual wheel suspension, at front and rear.
During the depression years, the W 15 was clearly the "right car at the right time," as Daimler-Benz AG's smallest passenger car model.

Now that the fall has begun, it is time to plan ahead for winter. Is your car "winterized"? That involves taking it to your mechanic, to check the wiper-blades, check the anti-freeze and test the PH in the engine cooling. These operations should be done twice a year, preparing the car for winter and summer. Prevention saves you a lot of money and it can identify issues you may have before the weather changes.
