New Bus Stop Improvements in West County
Sonoma County Transit unveiled a new passenger waiting shelter this month at the West County Services Center bus stop in Guerneville. This bus stop serves intercity route 20 and the local route 28 ‘River Shuttle’ providing a much-improved experience for passengers traveling throughout the Lower Russian River area or east toward Forestville, Sebastopol and Santa Rosa.

In addition to the new shelter, the improved bus stop includes a new electronic information sign showing real-time bus arrival times that are also available through the Transit app. The local route 28 ‘River Shuttle’ is fare-free for everyone. With valid identification, fares are also free on Intercity Route 20 for youth (18 and under), college students, and veterans.
