We got tire noodles on the menu!

This tire came back from a drift event at the race track, and as you can see, the tire completely delaminated — we were able to peel the tread layer right off the carcass.

The tire tread kept coming off, we were able to start it from the work area and pull it across the entire shop into the office/waiting room.

Holy moly! Now that’s a tire tumor 😱

A sidewall bubble (sometimes called a “tire tumor”) happens when the inner structure of the tire gets damaged from potholes, curbs, road hazards, or impacts. Air pushes through the weakened area and creates a bulge on the sidewall.

Driving on a tire with a bubble is dangerous because the sidewall is compromised and could fail at any time — especially at highway speeds. Unlike a nail or simple puncture, sidewall bubbles CANNOT be repaired safely.

If you notice a bubble on your tire:
❌ Don’t ignore it
❌ Don’t keep driving on it
✅ Replace the tire as soon as possible
