🚨 Burn Permit Suspension in North Bay Counties 🚨
Due to increased fire activity, rising temperatures, dry vegetation, and ongoing wildfire risk, CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit has suspended all residential outdoor burn permits within State Responsibility Areas of Colusa, Lake, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties.
📅 Effective: June 15, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
Residential outdoor burning of landscape debris, including branches and leaves, is no longer permitted.
Residents are encouraged to:
✅ Maintain 100 feet of defensible space around structures
✅ Remove dead or dying vegetation
✅ Use fire-resistant landscaping when possible
✅ Dispose of yard debris through chipping, green waste, or biomass facilities
As wildfire season intensifies, preparation is key to protecting lives, homes, and communities.

Red Flag warning in effect, Wednesday, June 10, at 11 p.m. through Thursday, June 11, 9 a.m.
While it remains gusty and dry, be Wildfire Wise by avoiding use of outdoor equipment, keeping grills away from vegetation, securing tow chains on your vehicle, and clearing leaves and debris from your yard!
PG&E’s potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is for customers in higher elevations of eastern Sonoma County Wednesday evening through Thursday. To learn about which areas are affected and when power is estimated to be restored, visit https://pgealerts.alerts.pge.com/outage-tools/outage-map/.
