There are two types of magnetism.
The kind that draws you in quick - like a glittery roller coaster ride.
Loud music. Flashing lights. Wild spinning.
It’s thrilling at first, but you quickly realize you’re dizzy, disoriented, and not quite sure how you got strapped in.
In contrast, true resonance is like stepping into a warm cabin after a snowstorm.
You didn’t even realize how cold you were until you felt the fire, smelled the soup, and your shoulders finally dropped.
You take off your coat, hat and shoes, maybe even your socks and
You exhale.
You feel safe, met, and real.
One is driven by adrenaline - hooking your attention through intensity and charm.
The other is co-regulation.
It’s not about being dazzled; it’s about your system softening.
Real resonance doesn’t demand your attention...it invites your presence.
And honestly? I want my clients to want to stay with me.
Not get burnt out by me. Integrity is a deeply held value of mine and no bro-marketer is going to convince me to go against that value.
I’m speaking to both the folks who want to be magnetic in their material and in how they show up…
And to those seeking transformation but keep getting sucked into shiny coaches or programs that just don’t meet their deeper needs.
I’ve been in those programs.
I got caught up in the energy and charisma, only to discover that the coach and their team didn’t actually know how to implement what they sold.
And I’ve been in programs with people who weren’t all that flashy online…
But the moment I was in the room with them, I could feel how rooted, open-hearted, and confident they were in their work.
At first, I went for the shiny because I went for the adrenaline. That was familiar to my nervous system and
I just wanted something to happen so badly that I bit.
But I’ve learned how to be more discerning.
How to ask potent questions before I say yes.
How to feel the person out.
To look at their social media and see how they respond to dissent.
To pay attention to the body of their work—not just the branding.
And most importantly, to pay attention to how I FEEL when watching their stuff or interacting with them. Do I get the shiny adrenaline high? Or do I feel mirrored, attuned to and resonant?
We need tools to slow it all down and tap into our body’s wisdom.
The bro-marketing days of pressure and performance are dying. Thank God.
But we also need something to replace it with.
Presence.
Transparency.
Deep knowing.
Rooted confidence.
Beginners mind.
Curiosity.
Repair after rupture.
And a nervous system that isn’t pretending to be regulated...
it is.
As the world gets noisier, our need to get more centered grows.
And speaking from that place?
Changes everything.
If this resonates with you, I have a 3-hour workshop coming up on June 14 (online):
Speak from the Center
An embodied confidence workshop.
We’ll slow down.
Tune in.
And practice expressing ourselves from the place that actually knows.
Let me know below if you want in.
