On this day in 1775, a fight for independence began.

That fight shaped a nation. But for many Veterans who have defended our freedom, independence is still something they are working to rebuild.

A safe place to sleep. A warm meal on the table. Support to heal and move forward. This is where our services help create a path forward. But we can’t do it alone.

Today, we launch 250 for 250. A campaign to raise $250,000 by July 4—America’s 250th anniversary.

Conversations that save lives matter.

We recently had the privilege of joining leaders and advocates from across the country at a Veteran Su***de Prevention Conference hosted by We Face The Fight.

Collaboration between service providers helps strengthen the support systems Veterans rely on during life’s most difficult moments. Together, we’re working to better serve those who served.

Nation’s Finest is a proud member of the California Association of Veteran Service Agencies (CAVSA), a coalition of five nonprofit Veteran organizations working together to advocate for policies that strengthen housing stability, behavioral health care, and access to supportive services for Veterans across California.

CAVSA has released its 2025 Annual Report, offering a comprehensive look at the challenges California’s Veterans are facing and the policy decisions that shape their access to care and support.
