Santa Rosa Women for Good

Last fall, a group of Santa Rosa Women for Good members attended the High Heels for Hope Gala benefiting The Zane Templin Foundation and came home with a pretty great auction item: a private sailing adventure on the San Francisco Bay.
Today, they finally cashed it in for a day of sunshine, laughter, and connection on the water ⛵️☀️
One of the best parts of being part of this community is the friendships and experiences that grow alongside the impact we make together. Who says doing good can't be a lot of fun?
Here's to making a difference, building community, and enjoying the journey together ❤️

✨ Nominations for our Summer Grant Cycle are now open! ✨
Want to nominate an organization? It's simple. All you have to do is be a donating member of Santa Rosa Women for Good and submit a nomination on our platform telling us which local nonprofit you believe deserves a grant and why.
As a donating member, you'll also have the opportunity to vote and help decide where our grants go. We suggest a quarterly donation of $100, but members are encouraged to give what they're able. Every dollar helps grow our collective impact.
Not a member yet? There's still time to join and have a voice in this grant cycle. Nominations close June 19.
Together, we're building a community of women who believe that when we pool our resources and lead with generosity, we can create meaningful change right here at home. ❤️

BIG NEWS: We’re growing the good in a whole new way ❤️
Because our community has grown and because so many local women want to be part of this movement for good, we’re able to expand our grants.
Starting with our Summer 2026 grant cycle, all three nonprofit finalists will receive funding through Santa Rosa Women for Good each quarter!
The top-voted organization will receive our $5,000 Grow the Good Impact Grant and each of the other two finalists will receive a $1,000 Seed Grant.
Same nomination process. Same member voting. Even more impact.
Why the change? Because we kept hearing it from our members: “How do we choose just one?”
And the truth is, we agree. These organizations are all doing incredible work and now we’re able to support more of them. And as our community grows, our grant amounts will grow too
Right now, about 88 Women for Good members are giving each quarter. When we reach 100 quarterly donors, we’ll immediately increase our grant amounts again.
More members = more impact.
This is what collective giving is all about. Just good people coming together to grow something bigger than themselves.
More support. More organizations. More good. ❤️

What a wonderful evening!
Last night, nearly 50 women gathered for our first-ever Grow the Good Community Celebration, joined by representatives from more than a dozen local nonprofits, many of them past grant recipients or nominees, and all organizations doing incredible work throughout Sonoma County.
The evening was a celebration of how far we've come since Santa Rosa Women for Good was founded in November 2022. What began with one woman saying yes to the idea of coming together to give has grown into a community of 128 women who believe that small acts, multiplied together, can create meaningful change.
As we looked around the room, we saw exactly what Women for Good is all about: new friendships being formed, members connecting with nonprofits, meaningful conversations happening everywhere, and people feeling inspired to get involved.
Together, we've granted more than $80,000 to local nonprofits in just three years, proving that impactful change happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
We also unveiled a new chapter for Women for Good that will allow us to support even more local nonprofits moving forward. We'll be sharing all the details about this updated grant model tomorrow - stay tuned!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to help us Grow the Good ❤️

Today, Santa Rosa Women for Good members volunteered at Redwood Empire Food Bank, where together we packed 308 senior food boxes totaling 9,809 pounds of food!
Standing on the assembly line was a powerful reminder of why our model works: each person contributed just one small part of the process, but together we filled box after box with food for local seniors.
It's the same idea behind Women for Good: when each of us contributes a little, together we create an impact far greater than any one of us could make alone.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today and to Redwood Empire Food Bank for the incredible work they do every day. 💚
Let us know if you want to join us when we come back in September for our next quarterly shift!

✨ Countless volunteer hours, connections, and friendships built
On June 10th, we’re gathering to celebrate that impact and the incredible nonprofit community that makes Sonoma County stronger every day.
