The burned at least 520 acres outside of Napa today drawing a large response from both the air and ground. As of now, the fire appears to have died down although official containment still stands at 5%. Fire season is apparently upon us already.

The gutted one vacant building and burned a small shed to the ground in downtown Sebastopol this evening. Firefighters were successful in keeping the fire from spreading to a nearby commercial buildings and quickly had the fire under control.
The 2nd alarm fire drew a heavy response from Sebastopol Fire Department, Gold Ridge Firefighters, Graton Fire Department and City of Santa Rosa Fire Department

Copter 104 on the earlier this month. The new 104 is totally awesome, although I miss the distinctive Huey sound.
