πŸ“ Are mealtimes filled with stress, frustration, tears, or worry?
Does your child:
βœ”οΈ Eat only a handful of foods?
βœ”οΈ Refuse foods based on texture, color, or smell?
βœ”οΈ Gag, cough, or struggle when eating?
βœ”οΈ Have difficulty chewing or swallowing?
βœ”οΈ Turn every meal into a battle?
You are not aloneβ€”and it may be more than β€œjust picky eating.”
We are excited to announce that The Swain Center is now accepting feeding therapy clients! πŸŽ‰
Our feeding therapy program is designed to support children who experience feeding challenges by helping them develop the skills, confidence, and comfort needed for successful mealtimes. Through individualized therapy and family-centered support, we work to create positive experiences with food while providing practical strategies that can be carried over at home.
Because feeding is about more than eating. It’s about nutrition, growth, development, independence, and helping children feel confident at the table. Call our office today to learn more about feeding therapy and schedule an evaluation. The earlier challenges are identified, the sooner we can help your childβ€”and your familyβ€”move toward calmer, more successful mealtimes.

🀍 As National Speech-Language-Hearing Month comes to a close, the message behind it continues to matter every single day.
This month is about more than speech, hearing, or developmental milestones. It is about helping children and adults feel understood, supported, connected, and confident in the way they communicate and experience the world around them.
It is also a reminder for families to trust their instincts.
If something feels off, it is okay to ask questions. It is okay to seek support. Early identification and intervention can make a meaningful difference in a child’s growth, communication, learning, and overall quality of life.
Every child develops differently, but parents often notice when something does not feel quite right before anyone else does. Your concerns are valid, and advocating early matters.
Awareness lasts longer than a month when we continue to listen, support, educate, and advocate for children and families everywhere.
