Happy Solstice!

It’s been a weird week.
I threw up bright red blood Monday and then spent 8 hours in the ER to be told I will probably be okay.
I have since been mostly in bed devouring books on my kindle scribe.

What are you doing to beat the heat? (Assuming it’s also hot)

It’s too hot to be creative.
This is me forcing myself to post content because I really need my business to thrive again regardless of me running on zero spoons almost daily.

messed up my lenses.

Since I started wearing glasses, I’ve been using Zenni exclusively.
My son has been wearing Zenni exclusively his whole life.
My parents also wear Zenni glasses. I’ve always promoted them as being an awesome option for eye wear.
I can no longer say they are my go to.
That metal rim frame was ordered in January, delivered whenever. They have the wrong lenses.
They felt weird when I tried them on so I set them aside to check later.
Chronic illness meant I forgot and just came across them again.
Wearing them today gave me a headache and made me sick and my eyes are sore. So glad I had my tinted lenses with me to switch to.

today was like too bad, it’s been too long. Which I get. But in all the years I’ve never complained. I’ve ate the loss when frames broke hella quick or when frames looked horrible after looking amazing in the try on(always pricier frames).
Well today, I actually complained.
They put the wrong lenses in my frames.
“We’ll make an exception” turned into I have to mail them the glasses, then wait 2-3 weeks for them to figure out they didn’t send me the correct lenses then I have to wait some more for the correct glasses.

Do better
If the other glasses from my recent orders are fine, there was obviously a mistake. I wear glasses all day every day.
