What happened: You opened a link that said "Play with Facebook". When you clicked "Play with Facebook" it added that app to your Facebook profile. When you clicked "Play with Facebook" you agreed to their terms and conditions, which allows them to post and send messages as you. Clicking on the links in the posts or messages can infect the end user's computer with malware or viruses.

What to do: NEVER answer any comment about helping you after the fact. These are all scammers (second image). All you need to do is remove the app or website from your profile settings.

First, go to the upper right hand corner of your Facebook profile. Click settings, then in the left sidebar scroll down to Apps & Websites and click it. You will then know what apps or websites have been allowed on your profile. Remove any apps or websites that you are not using. You do not need any apps or websites to use Facebook normally.

Furthermore you may set your profile to NOT allow added apps or websites (last picture.)
