Did you have a teacher you never forgot? I did!! My former teacher Nancy Rubin made this photo exhibit and it is wonderful! I am in it, and let me tell you, she had (and needed) huge patience and persistence to get it done. Beautiful and important way to educate the public about the different types of hearing "loss" (or Deaf GAIN!!) There are SOOOO many of us, yet most are separated and disconnected from each other. This display helps.

This Bay Area County Celebrates Disability Pride With New Exhibits In July, three showcases mark the 35th anniversary of Americans with Disabilities Act.
