What a joy it was to make these Sister Act the musical cookies for my very dear friend and the cast who open their month long show tonight! The cast has a tradition on opening night to give each other little gifts as a nod to all the hard work they have done together. Lynnea asked me to make these as her cast gift. What an awesome idea! All of the cookies have edible glitter on them to make them shimmer! I hear the costumes are VERY sparkly! I hand painted the stained glass cookies to look like cathedral windows, and hand painted the metallic silver and gold on the disco balls. A little extra special for this cast. What a dream come true! Spent a beautiful morning in SF with one of my nearest and dearest of eating cake, chatting with lovely new friends, meeting the creator of and bonding over our love of cake and the way it brings people together. She’s built something really unique and lovely! 10/10 would recommend this event to anyone! And the new cookbook is on sale now, and it’s beautiful!

Hurrah for another amazing middle school performance of Newsies! I’m so proud of my talented daughter singing her little heart out as Catherine and the whole cast and crew that knocked it out of the park! Love making closing night cookies for these amazing talented performers. This year half were lemon and half Classic vanilla bean. Yum!

Love these girls trip weekend vibes! Girls Gone Mild sounds dreamy. What a treat to come back to the house to enjoy one of these delicious beauties after a day of shopping, wine tasting, playing pickleball, lounging and reading with your favorite friends.
