Most people train strength and explosiveness separately.

This is called contrast training:
Pairing a heavy strength movement with an explosive movement to improve power output, speed, coordination, and athletic performance.

Heavy squats → box jumps
Deadlifts → kettlebell swings
Lunges → explosive step ups
Bench press → med ball throws
