The Amazon is on fire and this breaks my heart. I have never been to this majestic world but I’ve always felt deeply connected to this part of Mother Nature as I have dived deeper into the uses of holistic medicines. This truly is a tragedy for our time.

Calathea roseopicta, known at the ‘Medallion’ has large, oval shaped foliage with distinctive pink and white feather-shaped variegation on its emerald green leaves. The underside of each leaf exhibits a deep, rich burgundy hue.

Like all Calatheas, the ‘Medallion' enjoys bright, indirect light and evenly moist soil. These are not undemanding plants, and require consistency with watering and even light to thrive. She is a pet-friendly plant.

He ❤️ shade & ❤️moist soil. At night, his leaves fold up so they look like they are praying 🙏🏼
