Good Day Coffee Comrades!

We have three new things happening this week.

One, we are launching a small batch rotation of exotic coffees. These will be an experience and something you probably wouldn’t want as a daily drinker/crush a whole pot of before work in the morning but more of a single delicate cup that you would use your pour-over, french press, aero-press, or any other coffee contraption that maybe your significant other thinks is too unnecessary, for. These will most likely be very tropical or complex and will not taste anything like what you would typically associate with the taste of coffee and will be offered in smaller 4oz bags.

Two, we are offering our first blend! This, unlike the exotics, will be a daily drinker “go to” coffee. The Gybe is a darker roasted blend of Central American and East African coffees with notes of cocoa, fruit, and nutty characteristics. When starting Rigs a little over a year ago, I never had any intentions of ever doing a blend but instead, only wanted to offer single origin coffees because that’s what I enjoy. While I still enjoy single origins that are brighter, more acidic, and more fruit forward, I’ve come to realize that people have different taste than I do and that some people just want consistency. While I’m sure some you enjoy the constant rotation of different origins and being able to try coffees from all over, having a consistent go to coffee can come in clutch.

Last and probably least, we are now offering 5lb bag options on certain coffees. I know 12oz’s of coffee isn’t a lot if you are caffeinating a house of 4 or you’re someone that drinks a whole pot to themselves, so hopefully now we can offer a solution that is more cost effective and will keep everyone from that terrible feeling when you run out of coffee.

This long post is due to me being terrible at updating social media so it’s all coming out at once. Sorry not sorry. I’ll will try to get better 😘
