Back to the KY roots with some ocean flair! This gorgeous piece is created from a family to***co barn in central Kentucky. It brings together two very everlasting natural works of art.

I’ve always loved hearing the story of how something has gotten his name. Woods to waves was born many years ago as a hope and a dream, that had to take back place. That singular piece of wood that you see in the picture above came from the school house from the early 1900s. Located on a small farm in Kentucky, the owners of the farmland were tearing down the house and gave us the opportunity to go in and take out any of the wood we wanted to. At the time I didn’t know that this person would become my husband or the crazy journey we would embark on being a military family. And with that we went from the woods of Kentucky to the waves of the Florida Panhandle, and created a crafting business using this piece of history.
