Goldbeck Gundogs is excited to announce that it has entered into a strategic agreement with Otter Creek Farmstead & Distillery in which Otter Creek will be acquiring the Goldbeck Gundogs line of exceptional UK bloodline english cocker spaniels. As you know, Ken Revell, of Goldbeck Gundogs went to extraordinary lengths to acquire the very best of the UK English Cocker Spaniel bloodlines with the goal of improving the breed here in the United States.

Otter Creek, has had a similar aligned goal, and it also has a wonderful hunting plantation and exceptional facilities and training staff to showcase, train and hunt these exceptional dogs. Indeed, you will likely see some of the Goldbeck dogs in action at your next hunting vacation at Otter Creek. A big congratulations to English Cocker Spaniel "Phoebe" handled by Rory Potaczek of Junction Gundogs who won second place in the Novice Division at the recently held Scheels Dock Diving Competition in Eau Claire, Wisconsin! Phoebe was bred by Goldbeck Gundogs out of UK Imports Kerdat Martyn x Kenaiteen Lyra ("Wispa"). This was Phoebe's first ever dock diving competition, so not too shabby! These field bred english cocker spaniels out of our UK imports are proving to be exceptional athletes in a variety of disciplines. Interestingly, Phoebe's littermate brother "Boomer" owned by Otter Creek Farmstead, was awarded his Junior Hunter title at less than a year old, handled by Brit Formby.

What makes this even more impressive is that there is no junior handler division, so Rory was competing against all ages. Great job all around guys!
