You cannot give away what you refuse to receive.
Many men spend years encouraging everyone else while quietly believing they’re not enough. Shame, comparison, and regret convince us that self-hatred is humility—but it isn’t. God calls us to humility, not self-contempt.
Scripture teaches that every person is made in the image of God. That includes you. When you begin to see yourself through His truth instead of your failures, your relationships change. You become more patient, more forgiving, and more willing to serve because you’re no longer trying to prove your worth.
This week, stop speaking to yourself in ways you would never speak to someone you love. Replace the lie with God’s truth.
