On March 7 hosted an IronViz-style competition in partnership with in Malibu, CA. Tableau graciously provided training, licenses, and prizes.

Teams comprised of MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) and MBA students received a prompt the day of the event to leverage real customer data with the requirement of developing a dashboard; the data contained detailed purchase histories from 5,027 U.S. Amazon.com consumers, covering the period 2018 through 2022, comprising more than 1.8 million purchases.

Another impactful data analytics partnership between the MS in Business Analytics program at , with digital platform and restaurant solutions company providing real business questions, operational data, and access to their cloud resources (Google Cloud).

Today, the students presented their final solutions for the capstone project that spanned integration of public data and mapping, predictive models, and dashboards.

Had a wonderful time in Santa Monica this afternoon reconnecting with my former MS in Business Analytics students over coffee. Engaging with their stories and sharing ideas was truly inspiring, highlighting the rewarding aspects of teaching.
