Don’t forget to follow us along for our weekly free camping series!🤩

📌 In this series, we’ll be going over the BEST places to camp for FREE in the U.S. out west. Boondocking, dry camping, or disperse camping (they all mean the same) is camping without being connected to electric, water, or sewer. One of our favorite ways to camp is boondocking because it 1) saves us money and 2) is a great way to experience the outdoors with ample space and privacy around you.

📌Finding free camping in California, isn’t easy, especially around Yosemite, but we got you a spot!

📍 This is Goat Meadow SnoPark 🏞️🚐

About the spot:
We boondocked for 12 days at Goat Meadow SnoPark. This location is just outside Yosemite National Park, literally 5 minutes from the south entrance. We received this recommendation from @georgeandcris and it didn’t disappoint 🙌🏼

The boondocking location is BIG rig friendly and is an open lot for anyone to park wherever. The lot fills at night, but clears during the day. From this spot, it is an hour drive into the valley with traffic. There’s a fresh water refill and dump station 20 minutes away in Wawona that’s big rig friendly - we used this stop often to fill up on water and dump out tanks 💦

These will most likely be decorations for my counter for awhile.
