The Pub That Refused To Die
Commissioned by Heineken and directed by Gar O’Rourke, the short documentary captures the true story of 26 residents in Kilteely, Ireland, who bought and reopened their village’s last remaining pub, Aherns (rebranded as The Street Bar), to save their community’s social heart.
Cheers to the resilient people of Kilteely and to the vision of all of those who brought this project to life! 🍀🍻

The Slightest Touch, directed by and edited by Sloane Klevin, ACE, has won the Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the days after hbodocs acquired the television and streaming rights ahead of its world premiere.
