Good morning Team V,

Starting 31 May 2022, 30 MDG is restarting drive-thru PCR COVID tests at our parking lot (with big green test) from 0900-0945 on weekdays. No appointment is necessary. Same day results are available in the patient portal at TRICARE Online .

Antigen COVID tests are still available in the pharmacy for pick-up.

Last week, the 30MDG experienced what we are referring to as The flood of 2022" from a broken valvue on the second floor. The broken valve and subsequent flooding are not related to our current renovation project. The damage caused both water and HVAC coolant to flood into multiple sections of the building. The damage is extensive in many areas and has unfortunately decommissioned our pharmacy for the next two weeks. Our pharmacy, facilities, and logistics sections are working overtime to find alternate sources for our beneficiares to obtain their medications and get our facility back to functional.

Below are just a few photos of the damage within the pharmacy! We understand the continued fluctuation can be frustrating but assure you we are working mutliple avenues to try and restore all capabilities in the safest and most timely fashion. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

On Monday, April 18th your Space Medics will be supporting an official installation event along with the potential NRO launch. We will not have patient care appointments available however ancillary services will be available. To ensure you’re able to receive proper medical care in a timely fashion the Nurse Advice Line (NAL) will be on.

The 30th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic will now be giving the 2nd booster to the following members:

- Members who have received 3 J&J vaccines
- Members 12 and older that are immunocompromised
- Members 50 and older that have received the 1st booster at least 4 months ago

We have both Pfizer and Moderna available.

Please be aware that wait times at the Immunizations Clinic may be longer than normal due to this update.

The 30 MDG will be closed Friday, April 1st from 0700-1300 to participate in Base resiliency day. We will open at 1300. Please plan accordingly.
