Volt is immediately hiring for a HR Generalist for a local manufacturing company that offer great pay, benefits, and a healthy work environment!

This is a M-F 7am-4pm Pay starting at $22 +/hr DOE

Job Duties

Assist HR team by performing the following duties as requested/assigned:

-Manage and advise on pay structures, bonuses, and incentives.
-Assist HR Benefits Specialist with benefit administration as needed.
-Follow hiring processes to support staffing needs.
-Follow onboarding processes to support new Team Members.
-Support managers through the review process.
-Support managers with crucial conversations and follow disciplinary process.
-Follow termination procedure as needed.
-Stay updated with labor laws and regulatory changes, advise the team on any recommended changes/actions.
-Conduct Sexual Harassment training.
-Receive and input Training Records into Training Database.
-Maintain and audit personnel, personal, medical, and I-9 files.
-Assist in updating Team Member Handbook as needed.
-Create and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes.
-Be available for questions and concerns from Team Members.
-Take pulse of Team Members, management, and departmental relations. Escalate issues with discretion up the chain of command.
-Provide encouragement and guidance to Team Members and management.
-Create and conduct manager training as necessary.
-Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, -PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
-Knowledge and understanding of HR best practices.
-Be approachable and have excellent people and communication skills.
-Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.

Volt is looking for a Construction Foreman for an Agriculture company in Santa Maria, CA.

Full time- Direct Placement position with great benefits.

Job Descriptions:

Helps clients design, develop, maintain and enhance irrigation systems for increased yields and water savings.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Coordinates installation or repair tasks according to priorities and plans.
Supervises the use of machinery and equipment and ensures proper maintenance.
Reports process of installations to supervisor, manager and/or sales staff.
Ensures that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are at the job sites and are in working condition.
Ensures all safety precautions and quality standards are met from beginning to end of all projects and jobs.
Inspects the work of outside contractors ensuring that work meets job specifications and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications

Experience working in the agricultural irrigation and/or construction industry.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, basic hydraulics, pump systems and electrical systems.
Ability to read drawings and plans.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Two years of supervisor experience.
Current and valid driver’s license.
Bilingual in Spanish required.

Job Descriptions:

Responsible for installing irrigation systems

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Ensures efficient, timely, and proper installation of precision irrigation system.
Assists in initial project installation including; pipe fitting, low voltage wiring, electrical programming, computer programming, and set-up.
Provides remote support and local support to customers on all precision irrigation related products.
Diagnoses, inspects, and repairs any system components or equipment as needed.
Completes all required product specific training and maintains up to date product knowledge.
Maintains accurate time logs and site-specific notes for all services performed.
Trouble shootings and repairs precision irrigation systems.
Assists in AutoCAD drafting, and development of site plans, works directly with sales and design teams.
Works with customers, management, and sales team to develop appropriate service programs.
Minimum Qualifications

Current and valid driver’s license.
Strong customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, basic hydraulics, electrical systems, and wiring.
Bilingual in Spanish (Required)
Irrigation: 1 year
Hydraulics: 1 year
AutoCAD: 1 year
