Celebrating Gram's 80th birthday in my back yard was one for the books. She never takes pictures without covering her face, and somehow we got this exceptional gem with the best lighting to really capture the highlight on my face 😅

Before Real Estate, I was actually pursuing a career in Event Planning- I even have a degree for it. I love gathering people together and being a great host. I applied to several big companies to become an event coordinator just before the start of the pandemic. Little did I know I would have to change lanes again and try something new, but events are still a passion. To be able to bring people together for a good time, to celebrate something- to make a space beautiful, to hire incredible caterers, musicians, photographers... It's all about how I can support my people, and what resources I have to make their day shine.

2021 was a crazy year. I went through so many changes that shaped my future, whether I liked it or not. I had a lot of downs; some things I wish nobody had to experience. I also had so many ups; I moved freakin' mountains. I did things that I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be doing, let alone accomplish and thrive in. I have developed good habits that I now wake up every day and continue to do, to try to be a little better than I was yesterday. I have good people in my life that reciprocate the love and energy.

Many times I failed, but I got back up and tried again, even when it took countless attempts. I am walking out of 2021 a little dusty, a little bruised and beaten up, but a little stronger, a little wiser, a little tougher, and with my head held a little higher.

The most meaningful thing I took away from this year is you never know how much time you have left, you never know what's going to happen, so take the risks, change the career, tell that person you love them... because tomorrow may never come.

I feel enriched and ever so thankful.
