Birthright Citizenship Is Protected
The Supreme Court affirmed a fundamental constitutional principle: if you are born in the United States, you are an American.

Birthright citizenship has always been about belonging.
For generations, it has allowed families to put down roots, build communities, and contribute to our country’s future, regardless of their parents’ immigration status.

This decision is about more than immigration.
It reaffirms that no president can rewrite the Constitution with the stroke of a pen. The Constitution, not politics, determines who is an American.

This victory matters, but our work is not over.
The same Court has allowed attacks on other immigrant communities, including people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and those seeking asylum. Efforts to limit who belongs and who has a voice in our democracy continue.
