This birthday felt less about becoming someone new and more about finally honoring the woman I’ve always been. Softer where I used to be harder. Stronger where I once was broken. More present, more grounded, more alive. More willing to thrive.

At 50, I’ve learned that beauty is not perfection — it’s peace.

It’s mornings with flowers blooming in the sunlight, music filling the home, dogs curled beside you, chicken, cats, critters and kiddos, healing conversations, sacred quiet, and the courage to begin again.

I’m grateful for every lesson, every heartbreak, every miracle, every soul who stayed, and every path that led me back to myself.
