Had the pleasure of diving at Deep Dive Dubai this week. Deep Dive Dubai's pool contains 3,700,000 U.S. gal / 14,000,000 liters of fresh water and is 200 feet / 60-meters deep, making it the deepest swimming pool in the world. Also a pretty fun dive! There are lots of things to see - furnished rooms, a sunken car, several motorbikes, a snooker table, even a foosball table. (Playing foosball underwater was a trip!). My thanks to CEO Jarrod Jablonski for setting up a VIP tour of the facility and divers Abdelrahman and Viva for guiding me underwater through the labyrinth of fun things to explore. If you're in Dubai, I certainly recommend it!

On Sept 9th, over 11,000 students ages 7 to 17 were inspired at the Dale Oen Inspire event in Ålesund, Norway. I have to say, it was such a thrill to connect with so many young minds at once and an honor to share some of my travels and adventures. The focus of my talk was on "Character and the 4 C's" - Confidence, Curiosity, Courage, and Compassion. I am so grateful to Robin Dale Oen, Vibeke Dale Oen, the Dale Oen Foundation, and all the other speakers who made the event so much fun and such a success.

I travel a bit too much to make it a regular thing, but I love Zooming into classrooms to answer questions about my past travels and shows. Turns out a lot of teachers use Digging for the Truth to engage students and help them connect with ancient history, civilizations, and cultures. Today, I got a chance to meet 80 6th graders from Andrews Middle School in Medford, MA. They had some great questions ranging from how we make each show to how dangerous some of them got for me as the host. Thank you, students, and thank you, Ms. Lucas, for the opportunity to say hi.

Adding this to my ever-growing list of mysteries I may one day pursue.... Love that it involves Egypt, mummies, Salima Ikram-Egyptologist, new technology, and Cornell. (Go Big Red!)

Mislabeled for a Century, Mysterious Mummy Reclassified as Sacred Ibis Previously identified as a hawk, the bird was one of millions killed as offerings to the ancient Egyptian god Thoth
