Indeed…ANOTHER HOSPITAL, another city this week. ❤️‍🩹

While Mancub 3 was in spine surgery on Monday, my mom was undergoing a scheduled surgery to remove a large tumor that meant taking part of her pancreas, stomach, and intestines.

So, after it was clear that Judah was stable, I was able to fly out to San Fransisco to be with my mom as she begins to recover. We’re waiting on test results that won’t come in for a few weeks, so we’re just taking things one day at a time. 🙏 It’s been a bit of a roller coaster, but I’m glad I’ve been able to be with her for the past few days.

💌 I’m sharing some of these personal updates— just part of my “too much to handle” in this season—so that you know you’re not alone if you’re also walking through a season of waiting, disappointments, or unknowns.

More than ever, I’m convinced that our dependency on Jesus is where joy is found—by design. And if our greatest joy, hope, and peace come from dependency on God, is it any wonder that all roads lead back to a need to trust Him more?

All that to say: thank you for your ongoing prayers for me and my family. Thank you for celebrating the release of the GraceLaced Bible this week while I’ve been out.
