I have so many gorgeous roses and it truly pains me to cut them BUT after I stuck my nose deep into these luscious pink ones and was completely overwhelmed by the fragrance of pure love I figured it’s high time I start making a few magical potions of my own with some of them.

Trying a rose petal jam hybrid using chia seeds because I don’t have pectin on hand. I just winged it so I don’t know that it will set properly and the Panela, my favorite natural sugar to use in baking and ice creams, turned it a bit brown but it still smells and tastes pretty divine.

Will try again with pectin for a better set and maybe a clearer sweetener to preserve a bit of the pink.

Real love potions are made in the kitchen.
