Long run on the CDT through O’Keefe country with an obligatory lunch stop at El Farolito in El Rito because some rituals must be honored. Pretty tough to beat spring in northen New Mexico.

Oops! I forgot Sincere’s 6 year anniversary!

Last week Wednesday was the shop’s birthday and my personal 11 year anniversary of quitting drinking.

Thankfully I’ve got some amazing friends & customers like who not only reminded me but gifted this beautiful watercolor! Thanks, Anna! & thanks to the amazing community who’ve trusted me and allowed this little bike shop/running store/third space to survive some of the worst years bike shops (& retail) in the US have seen. In the most literal sense, I couldn’t have kept the doors open without all of you.

This also means I’ve spent longer at Sincere than , a shop in Chicago I co-founded/co-owned. I don’t know if that’s enough to make me a true Santa Fean, but it’s certainly a step nearer. Let’s see if I can get another six!
