Santa Fe HS TAFE - Future Educators

Today three of our TAFE officers presented our Education and Training pathway and our student organization to our senior warriors. This weekend 8 of our TAFE members attended the Teach Tomorrow Summit and competed at the state level. 3 of our members became national qualifiers and will be eligible to compete at our national Educators Rising Conference in June. Congratulations to all of our competitors for representing Santa Fe TEXAS High School and Santa Fe ISD well. We have amazing students and love to see them thrive. 💛💚

Our Santa Fe TEXAS High School TAFE Chapter participated in the Area 4 conference at Lone Star College- University Park on Friday. We had 18 students compete in various competitions and projects. All competitors represented Santa Fe HS well and we are proud of their hard work. We had 9 of those students advance to the State level. We also had our very own Sara Ayala run for an area officer position and she was elected to serve as the 2026-2027 Area Secretary! We are so proud of her commitment to leadership and TAFE. Congratulations Santa Fe HS TAFE!

Area 4 Secretary Sydney Boren and TAFE members, Hailey Yancy and Presley Castillo from Santa Fe TEXAS High School were invited to the Area 5 Fall workshop to share two breakout sessions for their student members. They did a great job presenting and representing our area and showed great leadership skills!

Santa Fe HS TAFE members attended the Fall TAFE Competition workshop at Lone Star College. Our very own Sydney Boren serves as the Area 4 secretary. She helped plan and present an awesome workshop for over 500 students in the Houston area. We took 23 students with us to learn about different topics involved in the teaching and training education pathway. I am so proud of our growing TAFE Chapter! ❤️
