The Encantado Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of the Community Based Grant competitive funding opportunity.

Community Based Grants are for nonprofit organizations and/or fiscally sponsored projects that increase access to STEM careers, build awareness for tech related careers, and advance STEM training opportunities for underrepresented communities. This open, competitive funding opportunity seeks a broader view of our of hire-ready efforts to strengthen the digital workforce. To be considered for a Community Based Grant, we welcome self or community member nominations of organizational efforts, which advance STEM related work, supports a specific project or initiative, and/or benefits a special event.

For special event grant support nominations, funding preference will be given to events occurring within 4 months of the application deadline.

Community Based Grant awards are available up to $5,000. Deadline to submit a community based grant nomination is September 1, 2022.
