Check your automatic transmission fluid regularly to keep your transmission in good working order. Transmission fluid should always be cherry red. If it is any other color, it needs to be replaced and the transmission inspected.

It is a good idea to periodically check the oil level in your car’s engine, especially as it nears time to have the oil changed. Not only does it tell you how much oil is in the engine, you can get an idea of how dirty the oil is.

What's that horrible squeak when you hit your brakes? That's the squealer - and you are lucky to have it, as many car manufacturers have stopped installing them. That squeal is telling you that your brakes need service ASAP before you wear out the rotors.
