TWO OPPORTUNITIES to meet ANNA SOFAER!
Join Anna on St. John's College campus for two fascinating discussions! You can now get a single session ticket for $35. A single session pass also gives you access to the campus, live music, food trucks, special encounters, and more! Tickets available at www.santafemagazine.co

Meet Anna Sofaer at the first-ever Santa Fe Magazine Festival, happening in Santa Fe June 12–14. Three days, 85 presenters, 35 sessions filled with ideas, art, music, storytelling, culture, food, conversation, and unexpected experiences.

On Saturday, June 13, at 11:30am, join Anna to explore the wisdom of the ancient ones and how they integrated sacred celestial knowledge. Anna will share a 35-minute extended trailer of her new film "From the Mind’s Eye: Another Way of Knowing," an exploration of four ancient sites, thousands of years and miles apart, that parallel the ancient Puebloan site of Chaco Canyon, in alignments, elegant geometries and rituals --- Stonehenge, Palenque, Hopewell and Chaco --- each inspired by the sun and moon as powerful animated beings.

Then don’t miss a second opportunity on Sunday, June 14, at 10:30am. Anna and archaeologist Richard Friedman will discuss the complex Sun Dagger site --- called an “American Stonehenge” in Science 80 Magazine --- exploring in an interactive computer model its brilliant unity of the sun and moon. A small site revealing monumental knowledge and, as you will hear from Tewa educator Alfonso Ortiz in portions of the early “Sun Dagger” film, built with profound respect for the spiritual power of the sun and moon.
