Did you know your body is made up of about ~70% of water?
Without water, your cells canโt function properly. Which leads to a drop in your mood, cognitive function, and energy levels.
Some causes of dehydration include:
1๏ธโฃPregnancy (nausea/vomiting)
2๏ธโฃBreast feeding (transfer of fluids to baby)
3๏ธโฃWorking out (loss of fluids due to sweating)
4๏ธโฃDrinking too much alcohol/caffeine (inhibits an antidiuretic hormone causing your cells shrink, pushing more water out to your bladder)
5๏ธโฃIrritable Bowel Syndrome (nausea/diarrhea)
6๏ธโฃHigh altitudes (speeds up your breathing causing you to exhale more water v***r)
7๏ธโฃStress (adrenal fatigue causes your body's production of aldosterone to drop)
8๏ธโฃYour period (estrogen/progesterone are on a roller coaster+ blood loss)
9๏ธโฃDiabetes (sugar levels rise/the body rids itself of the excess glucose through urine output)

Three ways I like to combat dehydration include:
