Let's talk about what perimenopause care typically looks like.

In your annual exam, you mention you're tired or your periods are weird. Basic labs. Everything's "normal"…and that's it.

Here's the problem: perimenopause is the most hormonally volatile decade of your life. Things change monthly, sometimes weekly.

A once-a-year visit with basic labs just isn't sufficient.

Real perimenopause care requires:

• Symptom tracking over time
• Understanding hormone patterns in context
• Comprehensive testing (thyroid, metabolic health, stress hormones—not just estrogen)
• Ongoing support
• A provider who knows what perimenopause looks like and what treatments really work

This transition lasts 5-10 years. You need a partner in your healthcare, not a once-a-year checkbox.
This kind of support exists. You just have to know where to look.

If you're feeling confused about what's happening in your body, it's not because you're going crazy.

It's because nobody taught you this.

Nobody talks about perimenopause. Not our mothers (who likely went through it in silence). Not our doctors (who receive minimal training on it). Not the healthcare system (which has historically dismissed women's health concerns).

Most medical professionals receive very little education on perimenopause and menopause—often just a brief section in a larger women's health curriculum. So they're not trained to connect the dots between insomnia and declining progesterone. They don't treat hot flashes that start in your early 40s, not just "once you're menopausal."

They do what they're trained to do: prescribe antidepressants for mood, sleep aids for insomnia, pain medication for joint pain. They often treat symptoms in isolation without addressing the root cause.

When you YOURSELF actually understand what's actually happening in your body, everything gets easier. You can advocate for yourself and make informed decisions.

You don’t need another influencer’s opinion.

You need a framework from someone who actually treats real women.

After 10+ years treating women navigating perimenopause, here’s what I know:

There’s so much conflicting information out there—wellness influencers, supplement companies, horror stories, miracle cures. And most of it is either too generic, too fear-based, or no applicable to YOU.

What’s missing is a clear, grounded framework that helps you understand:
• What’s actually happening in your body
• What stage of perimenopause you’re in
• What your symptoms mean
• What your treatment options are
• How to advocate for yourself

You don’t have to jump into treatment right away. But you do need to understand what’s happening so you can make informed decisions when you’re ready.

That’s why I’m creating my mew program, Navigating Perimenopause- an 8-week, doctor-led program designed to give you clarity, confidence, and a personalized roadmap through this transition.

Fatigue, brain fog, insomnia, mood swings, weight gain, joint pain, low libido—these aren’t “just part of aging.”

Your symptoms are clues. The way your body speaks to you.

Even when lab work doesn’t show anything conclusive, your body is communicating about what’s happening underneath the surface.

But too often, women are told:
• “You’re too young for menopause.”
• “It’s probably just stress.”
• “Have you tried eating less and exercising more?”
• “This is normal for your age.”

These responses aren’t good medicine.

You deserve a doctor who helps you interpret the messages your body is giving you and supports you accordingly.

After treating hundreds of women navigating perimenopause, I’ve learned that symptoms are often more reliable than lab numbers when it comes to understanding what stage you’re in and what’s actually happening hormonally.

If you’re experiencing symptoms—even if your labs look “normal”—something is happening.
