Summer Unleashed started as a summer collection.

Somewhere along the way, it became something else.

Blackwater became:
Wood becomes water.

Trees fall.
Leaves decompose.
The river turns black.

Twilight Fougère became:
Forest becomes night.

The last light fades.
Fog rises from warmed earth.
The woods grow quiet.

And now the third is coming:

Earth becomes air.

The moment stone breaks.
Dust rises.
The ground opens and becomes atmosphere.

Maybe that's what alchemy really is.

Watching one thing become another.

I didn't set out to build Summer Unleashed around transformation.

It just happened.

Maybe that's because transformation has been on my mind for a while.

The fragrances changed.
The brand changed.

I changed.

Maybe everything is becoming something else.
