Disney Research / NAMM 2025!

Spent day 1 walking California Adventure looking at how they run their audio system. They’re not shy with coverage and they account well for timing delays, almost no perceptible phasing or slap-back from structures. Markings are painted over but we saw familiar boxes from JBL, EAW and Community around the park. Right speaker for the right occasion was the takeaway, rather than brand loyalty.

Day 2 & 3 ran around NAMM show having the best time. Felt like a kid in a candy store stopping in and chatting with all my favorite companies. Got to see the debut of a massive 4-way full range cabinet from Bassboss, spent lots of time in listening rooms hearing powered speakers from all the big names. It’s been a crazy journey getting to where I’m at, but im feeling so grateful to be working in Pro Audio and having this chance 🙏🏼🔊 until next year!
