❗️Applicants: Have you filed your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or CADAA (California Dream Act Application) yet? We encourage students to file their FAFSA and CADAA by March 2, 2026. Students who apply late might miss out on full aid consideration and see a delay in accessing their award letter!

⚠️Transfer applicants‼️ Although the TAU priority deadline was January 31st, all transfer applicants have until March 15th to update their UC Application via the TAU. If you did not submit a TAU by January 31st, a review of your application is not guaranteed. For more information, check out our “After I Apply: What’s Next?” video on YouTube!

Have you heard the news? The UCSB Applicant Portal is open! Be sure to check your email for instructions on how to access your portal. As a reminder, admission decisions for first-year applicants will be released in mid-March and decisions for transfer applicants will be released in mid-April. 💙💛

Transfer students: The UCSB Office of Admissions needs your UC Application Transfer Academic Update (TAU) by 11:59 PM, PT on January 31, 2026. A TAU is needed to start reviewing your application. A TAU must be submitted even if you have no updates to report.

You can submit more than one TAU through March 15, should you need to report additional spring quarter/semester updates. If you need assistance with your academic update, check your emails to access the TAU video or reach out via email!
