Congrats to Fielding doctoral candidate Shana Pote on being selected to participate in the 2026 FORCE11 Research Communications and Scholarship Institute (FSCI), an international program exploring the future of scholarly communication in the era of artificial intelligence.

Shana will also serve as a featured panelist during the Institute's Closing Plenary, "AI: Pedagogical Partner or Scholarly Disruptor?," where scholars will examine the opportunities and challenges AI presents for teaching, learning, authorship, and academic practice.

Through her course, "Governing Thought in the Age of AI," Shana will engage participants in critical conversations about how generative AI is reshaping knowledge production, scholarly reasoning, and academic identity.
