Ok, here is the mess that is my work space. I work on the floor always, and always use J.P. McDermott pencils which can be seen in the mess. These are unfinished 1940's wood belts belts featuring male musicians (bottom), female musicians (top belt) and dancers (which is blank as it is just being started). I have loved dancing with you all and so this is my way of honoring the efforts so many have put into our local music and dance scene. I am also doing a series of fans like this one (of the legendary Sylvia Sykes) and they feature our favorite musicians and dancers...am very slow to post these as they take a long time to do, heads up!

Recently completed my annual commission of miniature models of the Endowment Chair (which is in the main lobby at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA). I made the large chair in the 1990's and have been working for them ever since.

Some of the first violins I did in the late 80's, featuring the king and queen of hearts playing cards. Playing cards represent the game of life and love and so being a romantic at heart they have always been included in my work, even now. I just love the symbology!
