RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY FOR UNDERREPRESENTED UNDERGRAD STUDENTS IN CONDENSED MATTER WITH DR. CENKE XU:

ABOUT THE RESEARCH:
In recent years condensed matter theory has become an extremely exciting field, and it starts to build connection with other fields such as high energy theory, gravity theory, and quantum information. My research group is interested in many subjects in condensed matter systems in the extreme quantum limit. Typical systems in this category include topological insulators, topological orders, high temperature superconductor, spin liquid, and also the most recently discovered strongly correlated superconductor in bilayer graphene.

WHO CAN APPLY:
The internship is for underrepresented undergraduate students, and it can start right away. The student can learn relevant background knowledge while working on the project.
